Mark leads our Sanctuary Service and reflects at the start that although the last 16 months has been difficult in many ways, there have also been gifts if we have taken the time to notice them. Peter Heywood will be reading the bible for us. Monica will be speaking from Acts 6 and 7. It’s the last one in the series and Monica will look at the death of Stephen. She encourages us to notice the nudges of the Holy Spirit. Come, pause and pray with us and allow God to restore your soul.

Last week we said farewell to the sofa and now we are moving back towards gathered worship. This Sunday we are streaming live from the church building with a live band. Come and join us online, Monica is preaching from the opening of the book of Acts.

At this Sunday's Sanctuary service we are encouraged to wake up! Rub the sleep from our eyes and look afresh at all that surrounds us. Sarah Couchman will lead us through with the help of a number of friends who have gained inspiration from time living overseas, a young lady who sings with her hands and the richness of hymns and songs ancient and modern. As we look at the life of the early church, Monica Corripio-Lopez shows us how a new outlook was needed by the early Christians .... and us too!

Monica Corripio-Lopez opens up two more of Jesus' parables and as Sarah Couchman leads us through the service we will pause to consider what is hidden, what is true treasure and our place in the Kingdom of God. Well Lockdown no.3 is here and so we have taken the difficult decision to close the church again. While we can still legally meet, it does not seem like the right thing to do. Transformed P4 - we continue our teaching series on being Transformed in our thinking and living by the Holy Spirit. We are going to be taking a deep dive into the bible and see what is says about our minds. This week Monica is preaching from James as we think about how we we can have 'Faith filled living'.

This coming Remembrance Sunday will be like no other but the first half of Sanctuary Service is a Remembrance Service and there will be a two-minute silence. In the second part of the service the readings and talk from Monica Corripio-Lopez will continue our series on Transformation, as she speaks on James Chapter 2 ‘Faith without deeds is useless and dead’. The final music comes from a very special event in Bath in Royal Victoria Park in 2003. Were you there?

In times when we feel shaken it is good to remember... remember who we are and that we are not alone. Monica Corripio-Lopez will be opening up the Bible and encouraging us with truths that will strengthen us. There will also be opportunities to sing heartily and remember in prayer those people and places on our hearts. Sarah Couchman will be leading us through the service and will be joined by a few more familiar faces!
